BOOTHWYN, PA. - NALC Branch 725 participated in the national Bowl for the Cure that benefits Muscular Dystrophy. Our event was well attended. It is held annually at the Conchester Lanes in Boothwyn, Pa. This year, Barbara Kearney and Steve Grassi acquired sports items to raffle off that made the event even more successful.
President Jim McCullough presided over a day filled with pure fun and no talk of work. Director of MDA Bill Mellon put on another successful event that raised a lot of money for MDA. These funds will be added to what’s raised all over the country this year and presented on Labor Day on national television. Last year the NALC presented a check for $1.7 million to the Muscular Dystrophy Association on Labor Day.

At the end of the day was many smiles and the following winners of the following items:

  • Linda salcedo, Ryan Howard figurine
  • Alice McCullough, Hunter Pence jersey
  • Joe Pease, Doc Halladay jersey
  • Kathy Grubbs, Eagles McCoy jersey
  • Art From lansdowne. Asante Samuel signed football

  • Much love goes out to all who attended or tried to attend. After all, there is next year. And it promises to be bigger and better than ever. So please make plans to attend.

On behalf of all the very thankful recipients of services rendered as a result of funds raised by us, President Jim McCullough would like to thank all of you sincerely for your thoughts, prayers, and contributions. God Bless!
