Region 12 is now under Phase II of the National Reassessment. What does that mean. To give it quick striff would be disrespectful. So, Branch 214 in San Francisco was under this phase 2 1/2 years ago. And although things have changed, it probably will give you an idea of what goes on. In keeping with our Branch's committment to topical training, all Shop Stewards are asked to attend the training on Wednesday January 27, 2010 at 7:00 PM. National Business Agent Bill Lucini will be giving this training. And if you were at his training at the State Convention on Article 12, he mentioned how important this NRP Process will be. At this point in the labor movement, we don't have the luzury of picking and choosing what we stay on top of. We HAVE to learn these important issues that have such a tremendous effect on our brothers and sisters who were hurt on the job. This NRP Process is one of those issues!

This is what we do!

On short notice, long notice, etc., we get the information out to the people who work so hard to protect our rights. And this training and more to come will help us defend the daily arrows that management is coming at us with. They are not only trying to discipline us, they are trying to prosecute us with the OIG.
